The Michael Jackson News Factory

I really cant take credit for the title of this post. It was inspired by the words of Randy Phillips in an interview about Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ concerts.

Ok now about the news factory. The reason I call it so is that it continuously ‘manufactures’ news about the King Of Pop. Well the factory is still making profits, by writing every possible thing about a human being. The very foundation of this factory is “We have to show the world that Michael Jackson is weird”. And the way they write the news is a shame to the world of journalism. There were respectable journalists in the world, who presented the news the way it is and in no way enforcing or suggestions to the readers, viewers, listeners.

But every thing is different when it comes to Michael Jackson for the only reason that he is the world’s best entertainer. I know some of you are going to say Elvis, Beatles etc. But they are popular in the eastern world only after the internet era. It is different with Michael Jackson. He appealed to the world irrespective of the country or nationality.

Well now getting back to the point………Sorry for the drift away couldn't help it

• Every one keeps writing that Mr. Jackson is not a good parent because he masks their faces. Here’s the thing about that. There are hundreds of cameras clicking pictures of your children. Do you think they are going to stop clicking if Michael Jackson says “I will remove their masks, would you all be kind enough not to take pictures of them”. Think the answer yourself honestly and you will get a “NO”. And let us assume that Michael Jackson never masked the children and then you know what the news factory would write ????. MICHAEL JACKSON DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF HIS CHILDREN. ALLOWS HUNDREDS OF PAPPARAZZI’S TO PHOTOGRAPH .

So either way the people who manufacture the news are going to say something wrong about the man.

• Now about Michael Jackson covering his own face with a mask. Same reason as above. Do you think those cameras will stop clicking if he says not to. When you know that they are not going to do you a favor then why not do yourself a favor??? So instead of telling them to stop he wears a mask. Wanna hear what the news factory says?? “JACKO IS SICKO”

I do not wish to repeat myself.

• And now there was this recent one about the O2 concerts. The news was that there is going to be a circus theme for the concert. And you know what PETA, was immediately sending warnings not to do so. The article said sources cited the news. Doesn’t PETA want to go after facts. Even before the concerts have started, they are jumping in with unverified news. WOW.

• This one is by an unauthorized biographer. This so called biographer knows that they are hungry for MJ news, so he keeps on yapping things. One such yapping backfired. Here is the article :

Russian billionaire OLEG DERIPASKA has slammed reports pop superstar MICHAEL JACKSON is set to perform at a private party the businessman is staging, branding the rumours "sheer fantasy".
The Thriller hitmaker was alleged to have negotiated a $2.9 million (£2 million) paycheque in exchange for an appearance at Deripaska's glitzy bash in April (09).
But representatives for the Russian tycoon have blasted the claims, made by Jackson biographer Ian Halperin earlier this month (Mar09).
The former journalist further alleged Jackson had demanded a team of nine doctors be on-hand throughout the performance - just in case he felt unwell. But all claims have been dismissed by a spokesman for Deripaska's office.
His representative Sergey Babichenko tells WENN, "A number of Russian and international media recently has published rumours about Michael Jackson's alleged forthcoming performance at Oleg Deripaska's party. This expressly false information has nothing to do with reality."

I guess Ian Halperin decided "as long as there are ppl who believe me I can make money do why not manufacture some news about Michael Jackson". This is one of the sources used by the Michael Jackson news factory. There are many others too. “Hey I will yap something nice about Michael Jackson , will you consider me your source ?”

And finally about the way they write the news. They cant write it as “Popstar Michael Jackson/ King of Pop”, instead it is “troubled singer Michael Jackson” or “self-proclaimed King of Pop” or “former king of pop”……………. Well that is how they feed the data, in a subtle way in which you may not realize. Once you read some 10 articles like that, your brain starts associating Michael Jackson with the words troubled, strange, weird etc, while it really is not the case.
